         Mar.1904    Established a limited partnership, named Hiroshima Kouzan,
and began to produce charcoal pig iron and special steel.
         Mar.1905    Renamed as Yonago Steel Works Partnership and began to produce crucible steel
as the first crucible steel producer in Japan.
Since then we have been producing specialist steel.
         May.1917    Resystematized to Yonago Steel Works,Ltd.
         Dec.1938    Merged with Nippon Soda Co.,Ltd.
         Dec.1949    Separated from Nippon Soda Co.,Ltd. and renamed as Nisso Steel Mfg.Co.,Ltd.
(present Pacific Metals Co.,Ltd.)
         May.1957    Separated from Nisso Steel Mfg.Co.,Ltd. and renamed Yonago Steel Works,Ltd.
         May.1985    Established by full investment of Pacific Metals group and took over the rights of property and business from Yonago Steel Works,Ltd.
         Dec.2003    Yonago Steel Co.,Ltd.,Pacific Special Alloy Castings Co.,Ltd.,Pacific Steel MFG. Co.,Ltd.
and Pacific Sowa Cooperation are merged vertically under Pacific Sowa Cooperation (holding company).
